"published"

just got the final printed pieces for the MGNE postcard project in the mail. so happy with how this thing turned out. the transition to cmyk desaturated the colors more than I expected it would, but honestly i kind of like it.

"what."

monsterposter

here's a 36" x 24" poster i'm doing for my boss' newborn son. im not going to explain all the data on here. but trust me when I say there is an inordinate amount of it.

UPDATEUPDATE: Added a livetrace of the constellation orion with surrounding stars in pink in the bg. has kind of a cool spatter effect, and becomes even cooler when the viewer realizes it's the constellation itself. I cannot effing wait to see this printed.

Playing with infographics

Tabloid sized poster visualizing the number of people who were late to class I TA'ed today. The middle of the poster is not working, (sparse; could use some tightening up; poster feels too tall for its content), but I was happy with how I was able to organize the information. The next step would be to design a little flash applet based on this layout to actually help me take attendance.
